Drama – The Good Kind

“Your next screenplay should be a drama”. They were the words encouraged by my writing consultant after completing my first feature screenplay, a funny romantic comedy called, You Had Me At Aloha. “You have a drama screenplay in you”. He was right about that.

By the next day, I’d come up with ten new ideas for dramas.  In fact, the ideas were pouring out of me like a tea pot. Can anyone say, English Breakfast tea?

It didn’t take me long to pick the idea I most wanted to write. It’s a very compelling story that is inspired by true events in my own life.

I’ll be spending the next few months writing this script.
